Biographical sketch

Currently, Dr. Kendrick is an Instructor in the College of Education. Her previous experiences include teaching at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, and Director of Gifted and Talented Programs for Louisiana. Dr. Kendrick was a classroom teacher for 23 years. She completed her doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University.  Her master’s degree was completed at Northwestern State University in gifted education, and her B.A. degree was obtained from Northeast Louisiana University (ULM) in Social Studies Education. Her research interest is secondary gifted students. She teaches multicultural education and methods courses for NSU.
